Arrival in Lijiang

Upon arrival at Lijiang Sanyi Airport, you will be greeted by your guide and transferred to your hotel. After check-in, enjoy a welcome dinner and take time to relax and adjust to the pace of Yunnan.

Day 2

Discover Lijiang

Today you will explore the historic charm of Lijiang. Wander through the ancient streets of Dayan Old Town, visit the lively Zhongyi Market, and continue to Wenfeng Temple. A short walk leads to a quiet meditation cave in the mountains.

Day 3

Lijiang to Shangri-La

Travel north through dramatic mountain landscapes as you journey from Lijiang to Shangri-La. Upon arrival, check in to your lodge and enjoy the peaceful atmosphere of the Tibetan plateau.

Day 4

Explore Shangri-La

Discover the unique culture of Shangri-La. Visit local monasteries and traditional Tibetan villages while learning about the region’s spiritual traditions and stunning highland scenery.

Day 5

Fly to Lhasa

Transfer to the airport for your flight to Lhasa, the spiritual heart of Tibet. Upon arrival, check in to your hotel and spend the afternoon acclimatizing to the high altitude.

Day 6

Discover Lhasa

Explore the rich cultural heritage of Lhasa. Visit important Tibetan landmarks and monasteries while gaining insight into the traditions and daily life of Tibetan Buddhism.

Day 7

Yamdrok Lake Excursion

Enjoy a scenic drive to the breathtaking Yamdrok Lake, one of Tibet’s most sacred lakes. Visit Gongga Qude Monastery and enjoy a traditional vegetarian lunch before returning to Lhasa.

Day 8

Departure

After breakfast, transfer to Lhasa Gonggar Airport for your onward journey. Your unforgettable journey through Yunnan and Tibet comes to an end.
