Day 1

Arrival in Beijing

Upon arrival in Beijing, you will be greeted at the airport and transferred to your hotel. The rest of the day is at leisure to relax and adjust to the rhythm of China’s historic capital.

Day 2

Imperial Beijing

Begin the day at Temple of Heaven Park, where locals practice morning exercises beneath ancient trees. Continue to the Forbidden City to explore the grand courtyards and imperial halls of China’s former royal palace.

Day 3

The Great Wall

Travel to the Mutianyu section of the Great Wall, one of the most scenic and well-preserved stretches of this iconic landmark. Walk along the ancient stone pathways and admire sweeping mountain views.

Day 4

A Gentle Morning of Culture & A Refined Arrival in Xi’an

Morning: Private calligraphy session with a local instructor, followed by a flight to Xi’an and hotel transfer upon arrival. Evening: Enjoy a Silk Road–inspired dinner, with an optional stroll in the Muslim Quarter.

Day 5

Timeless Antiquity & Xi’an’s Living Heritage

Morning & Afternoon: Visit the Terracotta Warriors, then continue to Xi’an’s ancient City Wall for panoramic views of the city’s historic and modern landscape. Evening: Enjoy the musical fountain at the Big Goose Pagoda, followed by a relaxed stroll through Ever-Bright City.

Day 6

A Taste of Local Life & A Smooth Journey to Chengdu

Morning & Afternoon: Enjoy a dumpling-making experience with a local family, then take a high-speed train to Chengdu. Evening: Upon arrival, savor a refined Sichuan hotpot dinner before transferring to your hotel.

Day 7

Gentle Encounters with Pandas & A Restful Chengdu Evening

Morning & Afternoon: Visit the Chengdu Panda Base in the morning, then return for a leisurely afternoon at Jinli Ancient Street. Evening: Enjoy a relaxing 100-minute Golden Impression massage.

Day 8

Tea Culture, Historic Lanes & A Graceful Evening Banquet

Morning & Afternoon: Enjoy a tea experience and face-changing performance at People’s Park, stroll through the Wide & Narrow Alleys, then visit East Memory after some rest. Evening: Experience the Shuyan Banquet with elegant dining and traditional performances.

A Smooth Flight to Shanghai & The Waterways of Zhujiajiao

Morning: Fly to Shanghai and transfer to your hotel upon arrival. Afternoon: Visit Zhujiajiao Watertown for a relaxed exploration and a scenic boat ride.

Day 10

Culinary Traditions & An Elegant Evening on the Huangpu

Morning: Participate in a hands-on cooking class and enjoy a relaxing coffee break. Afternoon & Evening: Explore the Former French Concession, have an early dinner, and end the day with a scenic Huangpu River Cruise.

Day 11

Towers, Classical Gardens & A Leisurely Farewell

Morning & Afternoon: Ascend Shanghai Tower for panoramic views, visit Chenghuang Temple and Yuyuan Garden, then explore the charming lanes of Tianzifang with free time to browse and relax. Evening: Conclude your journey with a refined farewell dinner celebrating your experiences and discoveries.

Day 12

Departure

Transfer to the airport for your onward flight, taking with you the tranquility, beauty, and memorable encounters of your journey through China.

This journey offered a perfect introduction to China’s cultural treasures. From the Great Wall and the Forbidden City to the Terracotta Warriors and Shanghai’s skyline, every destination felt iconic and beautifully curated.

An incredible way to experience China in depth. The itinerary balanced history, culture and modern city life wonderfully. Xi’an was a highlight for me, and seeing the Terracotta Warriors in person was unforgettable.

Everything was thoughtfully arranged from start to finish. The guides were knowledgeable and the destinations were fascinating. Xi’an and Chengdu offered a unique perspective on China’s past and present.
