From Guangzhou to Guilin, this route offers a rich exploration of Cantonese culture, maritime heritage, regional crafts, and the landscapes of southern China.

Day 1

Arrival in Guangzhou

Arrive in Guangzhou and transfer to your hotel. In the evening, stroll through the elegant streets of Shamian Island and enjoy a relaxing Pearl River night cruise with views of the illuminated Canton Tower.

Day 2

Old Guangzhou & Lingnan Heritage

Discover the cultural heritage of Guangzhou with visits to Chen Clan Ancestral Hall and the historic Liwan district. Experience Cantonese traditions with dim sum and a cultural workshop in the charming Yongqing Fang area.

Day 3

Modern Guangzhou → High-Speed Train to Chaoshan

Explore modern Guangzhou including the Guangzhou Opera House and Flower City Square. In the afternoon, travel by high-speed train to Shantou in the Chaoshan region.

Day 4

Chaoshan Immersive Cultural Experience

Step into the living traditions of Chaoshan with hands-on cultural activities. Learn the art of Chinese calligraphy and seal carving, followed by performances of Chaozhou Opera and the vibrant 24-festival drum dance.

Day 5

Shantou Old Town & Cultural Heritage

Explore Shantou’s beautifully restored Qilou Old Town and its rich maritime history. Try making traditional Chaoshan rice cakes and enjoy a local lunch, then take a scenic ferry to the Chaoshan Cultural Expo Center. Discover regional heritage and experience the dynamic Yingge Dance performance before heading to Chaozhou.

Day 6

Ancient Chaozhou City → Train to Quanzhou

Discover the historic charm of Chaozhou with visits to Han Wengong Temple and the iconic Guangji Bridge. Walk along the ancient city walls and explore traditional crafts including Chaozhou clay sculpture. In the evening, travel by high-speed train to Quanzhou.

Day 7

Quanzhou: Maritime Silk Road Heritage

Visit Wulin Ancient Village and Yongning Ancient Town. Continue to Luojia Temple and stroll along the scenic coastline of Shishi.

Day 8

Quanzhou Cultural Exploration

Discover Quanzhou’s fascinating multi-faith history at Kaiyuan Temple and Qingjing Mosque. Learn about the city’s maritime heritage and experience traditional puppet theatre culture.

Day 9

Quanzhou → Flight to Guilin

Fly to Guilin and begin exploring the iconic karst landscapes. Visit Elephant Trunk Hill and the picturesque Sun and Moon Towers.

Day 10

Li River Bamboo Rafting & Impression Show

Enjoy bamboo rafting along the breathtaking Li River and explore Xingping Ancient Town. In the evening, watch the spectacular outdoor performance Impression Liu Sanjie.

Day 11

Longji Rice Terraces

Travel to the famous Longji Rice Terraces and explore the stunning landscapes around Dazhai Village while learning about local minority culture.

Day 12

Yangshuo Nature & Cooking Experience

Visit the magnificent Silver Cave and join a hands-on Chinese cooking class in Yangshuo, learning to prepare authentic local dishes.

Day 13

Return to Guangzhou & Departure

Take the high-speed train back to Guangzhou and transfer to the airport for your international departure.
